Fairley Leadership Graduates 2020

What we do

At Goulburn Murray Community Leadership we believe in the power of community leadership to  effectively address the complex issues and critical opportunities in our region.

We develop place based community leaders to ensure we have a strong, innovative and sustainable Goulburn Murray region.

The development of community leaders takes place through a variety of leadership programs and courses.

Fairley Leadership is the annual flagship program designed to develop leadership skills and broaden the local knowledge of  participants.

We also offer further  development of graduates of the program through advanced leadership courses and a series of short courses throughout the year.

Fairley Leadership

Doing research and gaining inspiration for my keynote tomorrow night at the Fairley Leadership Graduation, I asked myself..

What makes a good community leader? ...

They must possess empathy, the ability to inspire, strong communication skills and pride in their community. Effective leaders are problem solvers who involve all members of their community.

“Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
