A number of scholarships are available to ensure there is diversity within the group of Fairley Leadership Program participants.

Regular payments can be negotiated and, in some instances, sponsorship can be sought to meet this fee.

No individual or organisation should be discouraged from applying for financial reasons.

Scholarships for the 2020 Fairley Leadership Program are listed below.

The Hugh Williamson Foundation Scholarship

Fairley Hugh Williamson

Number of scholarships available: 1

Criteria:

The successful applicant will:

  • Reside in rural and regional Victoria and;
  • Be from a smaller regional town, from the arts, indigenous or have a multicultural background;
  • Show a genuine interest in their community and community engagement;
  • Be able to demonstrate leadership potential.

Ken Sampson Memorial Fairley Leadership Scholarship

Fairley GBCMA

Number of scholarships available: 1

Criteria:

The successful applicant will:

  • Reside in rural and regional Victoria and;
  • Have an understanding and awareness of natural resources and environmental health issues;
  • Show a genuine interest in their community and community engagement;
    Be able to demonstrate leadership potential.

Gardiner Foundation Scholarship

Fairley Gardiner Foundation

Number of scholarships available: 2

Criteria:

The successful applicants will:

  • Be located in a recognised Victorian dairy community;
  • Be directly engaged with any part of the dairy value chain including farming, processing, service provision, manufacturing, organisations and projects and within industry businesses;
  • Show a genuine interest in their community and community engagement
  • Be able to demonstrate leadership potential.

Agriculture Victoria

Scholarships available: 1

Criteria:

The successful applicants will:

  • Reside in rural and regional Victoria
  • Work in or show a genuine interest in biosecurity and agriculture, with a particular interest in widely established pest animal and plants;
  • Show a genuine interest in their community and community engagement
  • Be able to demonstrate leadership potential.
